The contrast couldn’t be clearer.
When I get to Congress, I will be laser-focused on ending the Iran war that is driving up costs for families.

I'm going to keep fighting for our teachers and schools when I get to Congress.
I sued ICE on the City Council.
When I get to Congress, I will keep fighting to protect our community from ICE’s chaos and lawlessness.

When I go door to door, folks tell me what they are worried about: ICE raids in our neighborhoods, sky-high prices at the pump and how the Trump family is getting richer at their expense.

I was horrified to learn that a man detained in Escondido had died inside Otay Mesa Detention Center over the weekend.
Enough is enough. Immigrants deserve dignity and respect. Our families deserve transparency. And our communities demand accountability and adherence to the rule of Law.
Young voters have been at the heart of this campaign. Your vote is your power. It decides who shows up for you in Washington: on jobs, on healthcare, on whether this country protects what matters to you.
We can't do this without you.
